About Jean Mindana Foundation
Jean Mindana Foundation (JMF) is a nonprofit, non-political organization founded on August 10, 2022, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, in accordance with Law No. 004/2001 governing nonprofit associations and public utility institutions.
We exist to respond to the growing challenges faced by vulnerable populations and to promote self-reliance, dignity, and sustainable development.
Why We Exist
- Due to the worsening living conditions of the Congolese population
- Because protecting human life is a fundamental priority and a human right
- To support government and community initiatives, especially in self-empowerment
- To establish organized structures that address social and economic challenges

Our Core Objectives
Jean Mindana Foundation works to:
- Promote the social and economic empowerment of members and communities
- Fight against moral and social decay (anti-values)
- Establish social initiatives such as schools, hospitals, vocational and IT training centers
- Promote agricultural training programs
- Combat unemployment and poverty
- Support women’s empowerment through income-generating activities
- Create special development funds in partnership with financial institutions
- Promote local development initiatives (agriculture, fishing, livestock farming)
- Support environmental protection initiatives
- Provide humanitarian assistance to populations affected by crises or disasters
